Back on Track

Hey!

It's Ben from The Tallowed Truth,

It's time to get your life back in 2025.

This month I will be coaching you step by step how to get your life back on track in this beautiful new year.

This series is sponsored by F-Balm - which will really get your skin back on track - which you can buy right here.

But if you only want to read, that's fine too.

Here we go:

I recently had someone reach out a low point and ask for some advice.

My heart always goes out to these messages.

I've had some very low points.

I know what it's like to feel utterly miserable.

I know what it's like to have terrible anxiety, no confidence, no energy, no money, and no path forward.

But I also know what it takes to come back from that place, and that's what I'm gonna be sharing this month.

You really can change in amazing and beautiful ways, you are never too far gone.

Our bodies are designed to heal themselves if we just stop getting in the way.

Our lives can be filled with vitality and creativity and connection, we just need to give those things a chance to grow.

The first step is stability.

Whatever your problem is you need to stabilize yourself enough to take the next best steps.

This is the super basic (but crucial) stuff that most people ignore.

Stuff like a regular sleep and wake up time.

Stuff like learning to breath slowly a few times a day, stuff like getting at least 30 min of fresh air walking outside, stuff like making meat and eggs the foundation of your diet.

Stuff like learning the basic principles of meditation so you can start to detach from the rollercoaster of feelings you can't control.

Stuff like not messing yourself up with alcohol, drugs, or junk food every day.

You need to get stable before you can go chase your dreams, new relationships, new businesses, new opportunities (we will talk about this later).

Wherever you are at, do not neglect the basics.

Sending your body signals of safety and security is how you transition out of "fight or flight" mode and into deep bodily peace.

When you start to treat yourself better you also send signals to yourself that you are someone who is worth it (which you are)  - a very powerful signal.

You build credibility with yourself, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

This will start to build confidence and then you will want to improve even more.

Lifestyle interventions WILL change your life. They will set you up for the life you want.

But you need to actually do them.

I believe pretty much every illness (mental and physical) can be cured.

The big mindset switch is to realize that the pain in your life is telling you something.

It is information.

It is letting you know that you are out of alignment with something.

That there is a mismatch in some of the following things:

lifestyle/food/substance/environment/people/job/activities/beliefs etc.

I'm not saying you need to change everything.

But when you adopt the belief that your pain is information it is much easier to see a path forward to healing.

The cool thing is that once you start this process you do not stop.

Once I adopted the skillsets and lifestyle to stop having panic attacks and depression, I applied this growth mindset to my creativity as well, and then to business and relationships... and it just keeps going.

Ok almost done.

I know this was long.

Stability is number one.

You need to start feeling stable in your own skin, and more clear and calm in your own head - and the best lever for this is diet and lifestyle.

It's hard to improve anything else if your brain and body are foggy, malnourished and lethargic.

So we gotta start with lifestyle/sleep/diet.

If you don't know where to start, don't worry,

More on that will be coming very soon.

Happy New Year, it's going to be an amazing one for you.

In Truth and Tallow,

Ben
