Happy Monday,
I'm in Alaska right now and it's awesome.
I was joking about the moose tallow but this place is pretty cool.
As a kid I always wanted to come up here and live in a cabin and just hunt and stuff.
The simple life you know?
Where you just split the wood and cook the meals and go chase down some elk or something for dinner.
Your kids run around the yard and play in the dirt and your wife cooks up the wild animal you just brought home.
a little less iphone 14 and a little more "honey the wild raspberries are in season let's go for a sunset stroll"
Delusional I guess, but I think you know what I mean.
Simple, slow, real.
But alas I also want to grow a business and change the world.
Can you do both?
I don't know.
I think we are all trying to grasp at that vision of perfection which we can never really get to in this fallen world.
But that doesn't mean we shouldn't try.
Maybe I would have hated a cabin in the woods and this little trip is just the right amount of Alaska for me.
Maybe God's plan is better than my plan and as long as I keep moving forward he will give me exactly what I need wild raspberries and everything.
I dunno...
