I love this stuff! I bought it for living in Canada where the mosquitoes can be pretty bad not to mention the ticks and everything else, but I am working in Malaysia for a week right now and I've spent three days in the jungle and haven't been bothered by anything! It's nice to be able to put something on my body that isn't toxic but actually works!
Having complete faith in the Tallowed Truth products that I've used in the past, I purchased the Freedom Field Balm before heading out on our annual trip to the Ottawa Valley and Quebec for our summer vacation. The ticks up here are insane every year, and seem to procreate like rabbits! I've been using the Field Balm on my lower legs and ankles, as well as the backs of my arms and my neck. So far, I haven't had any issues with ticks, and the mosquitoes (which in the Ottawa Valley are the size of dragonflies) 🤣 have been keeping their distance. This product smells so fresh and summery, but the bugs hate it! 100% recommend!

The smell is nice. My wife likes it and is very particular. Nice texture. Most importantly it seems to work well. We had a nice Canada Day dinner on the patio and although there were thousands of mosquitoes around they seemed to leave us alone.

Not the easiest product to apply. It doesn’t absorb well unless you’re already a bit damp, so if you’re just applying on your way out the door expect to be greasy.
Hi Sharon! Yes, our application instructions require our F-Balm to use a very small pea-sized amount on a damp face. We find it easiest if it's applied after cleansing your face as it will already be damp! 💕

Whenever I had to use regular bug spray, I hated it cause I know the stuff is toxic. I used as little as possible. Freedom Field Balm is safe to use and even smells nice. I feel safe using it, and I use it liberally. I mean, I slap that stuff on every inch of exposed skin and the mosquitoes leave me alone.
This bug balm WORKS. We live in Florida USA. Bugs are abundant and bite. Apparently I am good mosquito bait. I smear this on before heading outside, they leave me along. The wasps leave me alone. They will make a pass then move on. THANK YOU for creating this natural bug/Field Balm. I have tried pretty much everything out there. Nothing else natural last as long or does this good a job repelling. OH, and watch the video the F-balm folks made with the tick moving await from the area with field balm applied. I love this balm. So easy to apply. Smells great! Wish it was the same texture as the F-Balm. Bugs do not like it! :)
